Holes

The title of my book is Holes.The author of this book is Louis Sachar.This is about a kid named Stanley going to jail but instead he is going to Camp Green Lake that is like jail.He goes to jail because the police tougth he stole some shoes but the real story was is that Stanley just saw the shoes falling from the sky so he caugth them and the police saw the shoes on his hands and took him to court.The reason why the police took him to Court was because the shoes were from a basketball player named Clyde Livingston and he was famous.So when he went to Court the judge told Stanley that whether he goes to Camp Green Lake or whether he goes to jail so he choosed the Camp Green Lake.So then the police took him to the camp.When he got there Stanley saw no lake.The only thing he sawed was dirt.So Stanley was stuck there for eigtheen months.The second story talks Katherine Barlow, a schoolteacher in Green Lake, Texas, over 110 years ago,and it talks about Katherine falling in love with man called Sam.Then they fall in love.So then a man called Charles was mad because Sam was dating Katherine so then Charles kills Sam and Sam's donkey.Then Katherine is so sad so then he steals Stanley  Yelnats money and the she took him to the desert and kills him.But then I think that Katherine loses the suitcase whit Stanleys great grandfather's money and she loses it in the desert.So then going back to the first story.Then Stanley meets this guy Mr.Sir and then he is like the  one responsibal for the kids.And he is really mean.Then he later made some friends.Their names were X-Ray, Armpit,Zigzag,Swquid,Magnet,and Zero.Zero and Stanley became really good friends.Stanley became really good friends with Zero because Stanley taugth Zero how to read.And then Mr.Sir makes everybody dig to they find treasure and then I think Zero finds it but then Mr.Sir finds it and then Zero burries it so nobody will find it. And then Zero runs away from Camp Green Lake and Stanley goes after him.And then Stanley and Zero stay on a little thing like a boat but upside down and they sleep there.Then they go look for food hte next day and they found this mountain and it had water and onions.Then they decided to go back to Camp Green Lake and then they found the suitcase and then they took it to this man that Mr.Sir called and they gave it to to the man..Then Mr.Sir had told the man that he had found the suitcase.But then Zero had told him that it had Stanley great grandfather's name on it.So then Stanley recived money and he left camp with Zero and they went back home.Stanley bougth a new house and Zero paid money to the police so that they can find his mom.I recemend this book to people who like historical fiction.I got this book from the public libary.
